Rare Pamid Wines from Ancient Vines
Discover the extraordinary taste of Pamid, an ancient Bulgarian grape variety cultivated on our 75-year-old vines. Each bottle tells a story of tradition, terroir, and uncompromising craftsmanship.
The Birth of Estate 42
Estate 42 was born from a deep respect for Vetren’s winemaking heritage and a vision to preserve the ancient Pamid grape variety for future generations. Our founders recognized that these 75-year-old vines represented something irreplaceable.
The number “42” is our latitude. The 42nd parallel runs through Vetren, and through Rioja and Ribera del Duero on its way west — the band of the northern hemisphere where these vines have always belonged. It is the one coordinate that explains the wine.
We didn’t choose Vetren ,Vetren chose us. The moment we tasted the wine from these ancient vines, we knew we had found something extraordinary that needed to be preserved and shared with the world.
